Most lasers treat the surface of the skin. Our Junera™ laser in Southlake works beneath the skin through a very small (1 to 2 mm) entry point, comfortably numbed with local anesthesia. This lets the laser energy reach the exact tissue layer where tightening, fat reduction, and collagen support can happen more effectively.
The system also uses different fiber sizes for different areas. A very small 400-micron fiber can treat delicate periorbital areas (around the eyes). A 600-micron fiber can treat the face and neck. A body-focused delivery system, with a rigid cannula housing an 800-micron fiber, can treat areas like the abdomen, arms, thighs, flanks, and knees, and can help remediate irregularities caused by legacy body-contouring treatments.
Junera™ delivers controlled heat below the skin using its 1470nm wavelength, which is selectively absorbed by water in the dermis. That controlled heat creates an initial tightening effect and stimulates collagen remodeling over time.
Think of collagen as part of your skin’s support structure. As your body builds new collagen, the treated area can look firmer, smoother, and more supported. Results usually continue developing over 3 to 6 months
