How does Jeuveau stop the formation of wrinkles?

Acetylcholine is responsible for facial movements which can cause facial lines and wrinkles. Jeuveau is made using the prabotulinumtoxinA-xvfs, a new strain of the botulinum toxin A. It can intercept and stop the release of acetylcholine for a short time, effectively stopping the contraction of muscles temporarily. When your facial muscles don’t move too much, they prevent the creasing of your skin, thereby reducing the formation of lines and wrinkles

How long do results last?

The Jeuveau treatment process

The Jeuveau injection process starts with an evaluation of your glabellar region. We determine the severity of the problem and determine the dosage for your treatment. Jeuveau is relatively pain-free.

Dr. Gordon will inject the units of Jeuveau into different areas of your forehead and glabellar region. It is recommended scheduling any injectables at least two weeks or more prior to any big event or occasion.

I sometimes find when you go somewhere with a lot of money floating around people can be rude and stuck up. This couldn't be further from the truth at Renew. My experience with Dr. Gordon and Briley was so refreshing. They seemed to genuinely care about me reaching my aesthetic goals and Dr. Gordon was even honest when I was about to get filler and she didn't think I should do it. Today, a year later, I am still seeing the benefits of the subcision she did on my chin. I am so sad that I moved away from Texas because my experience at other med spas here in Georgia have not been nearly as enjoyable (or had even close to as good of results) as Renew. After the treatment

Your forehead may be slightly inflamed and/or bruised. There may be very minor bleeding, which stops within a few minutes. Jeuveau has little downtime. We advise you not to touch your forehead or make excessive facial movements for a day or two to help Jeuveau take effect. You may experience a slight headache after treatment; that is completely normal.

After a few weeks, you’ll notice a gradual reduction in the appearance of glabellar lines.
