How does the Glass Skin Facial work?

In the glass skin facial, smaller amounts of the neuromodulator are infused into the skin instead of the muscle through micro-channels created by microneedling to achieve skin tightening. Skin infusion of Botox achieves a subtle, yet effective, anti-aging effect by firming up the skin and reducing wrinkles and fine lines.

What is a Glass Skin Facial?

A glass skin facial leverages the micro-channels created using microneedling to infuse Botox and healing serums into the skin. The microneedling procedure creates tiny injuries on the skin that stimulates the natural healing process by stepping up the production of collagen and elastin – the skin health proteins. Collagen and elastin work to boost the volume, tone, and strength of the skin and erases wrinkles and fine lines while firming up the skin.

Fine lines, wrinkles, blemishes, and enlarged pores are some of the most common skin problems. While these are typically associated with aging, they can occur in younger people as well because of sun exposure, pollution, smoking, or other factors.

Although my time spent with Renew was relatively short (coming in between pregnancies and before a cross county move) it was the best experience I've ever had when it comes to the health and beauty industry. I sometimes find when you go somewhere with a lot of money floating around people can be rude and stuck up. This couldn't be further from the truth at Renew. My experience with Dr. Gordon and Briley was so refreshing. They seemed to genuinely care about me reaching my aesthetic goals and Dr. Gordon was even honest when I was about to get filler and she didn't think I should do it. Today, a year later, I am still seeing the benefits of the subcision she did on my chin. I am so sad that I moved away from Texas because my experience at other med spas here in Georgia have not been nearly as enjoyable (or had even close to as good of results) as Renew. I miss this place and can't recommend enough.

Preparing for the glass skin facial involves avoiding retinoid creams, topical antibiotics, and exfoliants 3-4 days before the procedure. You will also be advised to avoid waxing, shaving, or using depilatory creams 5-7 days before the facial.
