S. Alexis Gordon, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a board-certified physician and surgeon and also a member of the Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons. She received her MD from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed her residency in Urologic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Gordon has received prestigious awards such as the “Patient’s Choice” and “Compassionate Doctor” based on patient satisfaction, as well as “Top 1% America’s Most Recognized Physician” for several years. She lives in Southlake with her husband and is the proud mom of a college girl, a teenage son, and dogs.

After more than 18 successful years in practice as a Urologic Surgeon, Dr. Alexis Gordon was ready for a new adventure. With her long-standing passion for dermatologic conditions and aesthetics, she worked toward her goal of opening a medical center focused on helping patients look and feel renewed. She trained with renowned cosmetic surgery doctors while researching the latest technologies and brought all of this to life when the doors of Renew MD Facial Aesthetics opened in 2018. Renew MD has recently won several local awards, including Best Med Spa, the Best place for Botox/fillers, and Readers’ Choice awards for Southlake Society Magazine (a local publication).

At Renew MD Facial Aesthetics, we feel strongly about delivering the highest quality of care and achieving superior patient satisfaction. Every patient consults with Dr. Gordon or her highly trained certified Nurse Practitioner, to develop personalized short- and long-term goals. All treatments are overseen and delegated by Dr. Gordon and performed by her and her highly qualified staff. Our main goal is that every single visit is professional, patient-focused, and results driven.

Erika graduated with her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Harding University and was inducted into the prestigious Sigma Theta Tau honor society for excellence. As someone that continues to strive for excellence, She became dual certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Erika built a wealth of experience in a career that spanned over 15 years in Emergency Departments at some of the biggest hospitals across the United States, as well as learning advanced aesthetic techniques. Erika has trained alongside top aesthetic injectors and has been an advanced injector for over 6 years using products by Allergan, Merz, Raveeneae, and Galderma. Erika takes her time with each consult to work on achievable goals with the least invasive techniques.

Erika has also continued to work part-time in a busy family practice south of Dallas in Primary Care. Erika believes in attention to every detail and has built a reputation for going the extra mile to provide the best care possible among her patients. Erika is also a US Veteran and proudly served our nation as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army as a Patriot Missile Specialist, which is when she first fell in love with Texas.

Outside of work, Erika enjoys spending time with her daughter Maddie. Erika often occupies her time reading medical journals or continuing training, doing trivia, and working out on her rowing machine.

With almost 8 years combined of beauty industry experience, Briley is an incredibly dedicated and passionate aesthetician. Suffering from acne in her teenage years, she has a deep and personal connection to the desire to feel beautiful in your own skin. She first joined the industry as a working makeup artist at Sephora and Estēe Lauder, all while freelancing on her own.

With intentions of becoming a professional in the makeup industry, she attended Duvall’s School of Cosmetology and Esthetics where she was immediately captivated by the science behind skin and wasted no time exploring her passion for that field. She then continued her education to become microneedling certified and a licensed laser technician.

With 4 years as a working aesthetician, she is now eagerly joining the Renew MD team to focus on advanced medical aesthetics. Briley is a strong believer that a little patience and commitment to skincare treatments are the key to that extra boost of confidence that shines from within!
